Equipping the Church for Africa’s Future
A Christ-centred, Biblically-based, Spirit-led think-tank helping the Church engage effectively with Africa’s challenges and opportunities between now and 2050.
The Future of Africa is the Future of the World
By 2050, Africa will be home to 2.5 billion people — one quarter of the global population.
40% of the world’s youth will be African.
The continent already has more cities of over one million people than Europe and the United States combined.
The church in Africa will be the largest in the world, with over 1.1 billion Christians.
However, these opportunities also come with challenges, including extreme poverty, fragile governance, urban overcrowding, and questions of identity and faith.
A Spirit-Led Think Tank for a New Generation
Africa 2050 Institute equips the church to respond wisely and faithfully to Africa’s realities. We bring together thought-leaders, networks, and practitioners to:
Interpret the times – understanding Africa’s social, economic, and spiritual shifts through a Biblical lens.
Inform the Church – developing insights, frameworks, and resources to guide effective engagement.
Inspire action – encouraging Spirit-led initiatives that advance shalom and long-term flourishing across the continent.
